Travis Smith

Travis specializes in working with property owners, investors, developers and users to identify land sites and to help them make great decisions. His main focus is finding and marketing quality tracts for their highest and best use. Travis comes from a line of land transaction specialists and understands what it means to provide highly informed and trustworthy representation. Travis has sold thousands of acres in the greater Houston area and throughout Texas. Representing both buyers and sellers, he has experience with large-acreage investment, single family and multifamily residential, build-to-rent, medical, office, senior housing, industrial, and environmentally sensitive sites. His most memorable transaction was a 140-acre EPA Superfund site requiring extensive coordination with the city, state and federal government entities to allow for a high-quality investment-grade development and the transformation of a blighted area of the city. Prior to joining JLL, Travis worked for six years leading The Woodlands office of the Caldwell Companies. Before that, he worked for eight years in the oil and gas industry managing operations for midstream and oil and gas service companies.
