Torrey Rush is a native of Kingstree, South Carolina. He received his Bachelors of Science Degree in Sport Management from Liberty University. After a successful college football career, he spent a season in NFL Europe with the Barcelona Dragons. Today, Torrey enjoys the real estate profession, specializing in commercial real estate and land development. With over 15 years of industry experience he has assisted clients with millions of dollars of real estate transactions. He is associated with several industry organizations including NAIOP Commercial Real Estate, International Council of Shopping Centers as a national round table presenter and the National Town Builders Association where he was a guest presenter. Torrey was the Director of Advisory Services for Integrity Real Estate Advisors a real estate consulting firm that works directly with real estate investors and developers. He has extensive experience in residential and commercial real estate from the perspective of end-user marketing, investor relations, project facilitation and development. In addition to developing commercial and residential projects, he has vast experience in: municipality relations, land acquisition, planning, permitting, engineering and architectural consultation and facilitation, project management, construction management project financing and end project marketing. He is also the Founder of Carolina Community Development Corporation, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization that specializes in promoting and maintaining affordable housing, business ownership, and the economic vitality of Richland County and other counties throughout South Carolina. He is the former Chairman for Richland County Council, the former Vice-Chair of Board of Zoning Appeals for Richland County, a South Carolina 2nd Congressional District Minority Affairs Commission Member and serves on various other boards and commissions. Torrey is also the author of "Tears of a Lonely Son," an actual account of his journey toward emotional healing after the loss of his father in 1999. He is married to Darci Strickland Rush.
