My real estate career as an industrial broker began in Westchester County, New York in 1996, after "retiring" from the practice of real estate law. I had many high profile transactions, and held several executive positions at Friedland Realty in my 20+ years there including Manager of the firm's Industrial Division, COO, President, CEO and Vice-Chairman. In November 2015, my wife and I relocated to Savannah, Georgia and I affiliated with NAI Mopper Benton, with whom I had worked during my years in NY. I have represented several large property holders such as the Lockheed Martin Corporation and large tenants, including the New York City Police Department's Drug Enforcement Agency and the New York City Board of Education, but a majority of my transactions over the years have been owners of small warehouses, stores and land which are the family’s only asset. Every client and customer brings something unique to the table and each is as important as the next. Prior to joining Friedland Realty, I practiced real estate law in Manhattan, ran a textile importing company, worked as a theater producer in New York City, and owned and managed a boy’s summer camp in Maine. For the past 26 years, I have helped run Camp Viva, a one-week sleep away camp for families affected by HIV/Aids. I am one of the founders of the Camp and was honored by the New York State Commissioner of Health for my work in this area. I love living in Savannah and reside at The Landings on Skidaway Island with my wife, Andrea. Together we have four children, Jared (32), Sophie (30), Averi (30) and Amelia (27).
