Tony Cerniglia

Tony Cerniglia is a First Vice President in the Retail Services division of CBRE. He is currently responsible for tenant/landlord representation and project leasing in the Southeast market. His duties include leasing, acquisition/disposition, land brokerage and development. Previously, Mr. Cerniglia was Vice President of Staubach Retail-Southeast. Prior to joining Staubach, he was a Senior Vice President for Wells Real Estate Investment Trust from 1996 to 2005, a real estate investment trust located in Atlanta. Wells’ primary business was acquiring commercial real estate leased to high credit, national tenants. During Mr. Cerniglia’s career at Wells, the company grew from a local company with $25 million in annual revenue to a national firm with more than $4 billion in annual revenue. In 2001 and 2002, Wells was the largest purchaser of commercial real estate in the United States. Mr. Cerniglia’s duties included leasing, acquisition, disposition and underwriting of commercial properties, and was responsible for a 10 million-square-foot portfolio of properties nationwide. Mr. Cerniglia is a native of Atlanta and has been engaged in the commercial real estate business since 1981.
