Tony M. Amato, CCIM joined Avison Young in March 2012 as a member of the Retail Group specializing in convenience stores and gas stations. A Nevada resident since 1955, Tony has over thirty (30) years of experience in commercial real estate and commercial real estate finance, and is considered to be the top professional in his specialty in the marketplace. He has established numerous professional relationships with his valued clients in the Southwest and throughout the U.S. During his career, Tony has brokered over 200 sale and lease transactions of convenience stores and gas stations in Las Vegas and Reno, Nevada, and Phoenix, Arizona. He has facilitated over $250 million in SBA financing for his clients, and has brokered the sale of over 100 parcels of vacant commercial, residential, and industrial properties for development during his career, many of which required coordinating and directing the entitlement and development process for owners and developers. Relying upon an extensive network of industry resources and relationships, he possesses best in class knowledge of current market trends, property valuations, and future development opportunities in the Southwest region.
