Tom Tapia has been a Bend resident since 1978 and can’t imagine living anywhere else! From 1993 to 2013 he owned and managed over 59,000 square feet of industrial/commercial properties in Bend and now owns 11 rental homes in the area. He has enjoyed helping local businesses and families set down roots in Central Oregon for over 20 years. Being both a property owner and broker has given Tom the valuable perspective to put together successful transactions that help achieve a common goal between buyers and sellers and landlord and tenants. As a Commercial Real Estate broker and U.S. Navy Veteran, Tom dedicates his time and expertise in creating synergistic relationships that help build strong communities and the local economy. In 2013 he completed the $3.5 million dollar sales transaction of East Bend Plaza in Bend and has also worked directly with companies such as St. Charles Health Systems, Hydro Flask, Country Catering, Gem Chocolates and Atlas Cider Company lease space for their business operations and food/beverage production. Tom specializes in industrial sales and leasing and has a special interest in working with U.S. Veterans to succeed in their business ventures. Tom has recently earned his Principal Broker’s license, and the distinguished Certified Commercial Investment Manager (CCIM) designation. He is also a Certified Residential Investment Specialist (CRIS) and is Vice President of the Commercial Investment Division of the Central Oregon Association of Realtors.
