Tom Fehrman has been in the land and retail development industries for more than 25 years and brings his experience and expertise to Remington Nevada as a partner. At Remington Nevada, Tom’s primary focus is retail development such as land acquisitions and entitlements, which include the management of sales and retail operation support staff, new business acquisitions, retail development, store construction, retailer financing and asset sales and purchase agreements.Tom’s career in real estate began in 1991, and has been devoted specifically to the field of commercial real estate ever since he joined ICON Real Estate Services in 1994, a boutique brokerage and development firm based in Las Vegas, Nevada. His focus at ICON was dedicated primarily to land investments, syndications, ground up construction and retail acquisition and disposition.In 1997 Tom teamed up with business partner Frank (Terry) Ferraro to form Fehrman Ferraro & Associates, as co-founder and Vice-President of Real Estate Management & Development. For a decade Tom worked on projects ranging from such properties as quality service retail, strip centers, restaurants/taverns, office buildings and self-storage facilities.In the early part of 2007, Fehrman Ferraro & Associates established a commercial real estate brokerage entity as part of their development operations. This entity – Property Source, LLC. – conducts a full line of brokerage services in Nevada from sales, landlord and tenant representation. In 2015 Property Source partnered with Remington Nevada as support for the aforementioned services.A member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Tom continues to hone his real estate talents by attending all courses required for the CCIM designation as well as numerous real estate continuing education courses.Outside of Remington Nevada, Tom is a big supporter of various children’s charities such as Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Nevada and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).
