Todd Groen is the principal owner of Groen Realty Partners. Mr. Groen is a real estate consultant specializing in commercial real estate acquisition and development with almost 35 years of experience. Prior to the formation of Groen Realty Partners, he was a principal partner at Stryker/Groen Commercial Realty. Mr. Groen has also served as the Vice President of Development for Betz Realty Investors in Houston where he developed several projects including Rockmead Professional Center – a 28,000-square-foot professional office building in Kingwood, Texas; Greatwood Professional Center, a 19,000-square-foot professional office building in the master-planned subdivision of Greatwood in Sugar Land, Texas; South Bay Professional Center, a 24,500 square foot professional office building in the affluent South Shore Harbour/Clear Lake area; and The Business Center at Park 10, a 115,000 square foot Office/Service Center located in the I-10/Highway 6 area. Mr. Groen also was instrumental in the renovation and repositioning of the 100,000 square foot, 15-story Olmos Tower residential high-rise in San Antonio, Texas. Prior to joining Betz Realty Investors, Mr. Groen spent over three years with Turner Adreac Development as Development Manager. In this position, he handled most aspects of Turner Adreac's new and redevelopment projects including site selection, conceptual project planning, securing investor commitments, closing on debt components, as well as oversight of construction for Turner Adreac. During his time there, Mr. Groen was involved in and completed over 10 different projects and product types from Medical Professional, Retail, Apartment as well as Multi-Tenant Office. Mr. Groen began his career with Senterra Development in their Acquisitions and Development department. Over his seven years at Senterra Development, Mr. Groen was instrumental in analyzing, acquiring and securing financing for investment properties. He also headed up the continual financial valuation and repositioning of Senterra's crown property, Greenway Plaza, a multi-use property encompassing 4.2 million square feet of multi-tenant office space, a 100,000 square foot retail development, and the Compaq Center, a 16,000 seat multi-use arena and former home of the National Basketball Association's Houston Rockets.
