Todd Avant

Todd Avant is Managing Partner of Avant Holdings, LLC, a commercial real estate development and investment company. Todd is the former Chief Executive Officer of NAI Avant, an over 50-year old leading full service firm the Avant family sold at the end of year 2018. The NAI Avant company sale did not include any of the Avant real estate assets nor the development arm. A nearly 25-year industry veteran, Todd’s background includes executive operations, development and finance, project design, investment and development site sales. Avant Holdings focus is urban infill, adaptive reuse, build to suits, and value-add investments. The principals of Avant Holdings have decades of diversified development experience including urban mixed use, historic adaptive reuse, medical, shopping centers, land development and office buildings. Todd earned a degree in Business Economics from Wofford College. He obtained the CCIM designation (Certified Commercial Investment Member) from the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute at age 28. Todd is also a Life Member of the Central Carolina Realtors Association’s Circle of Excellence. Todd along with his father Dan, are prior honorees of the March of Dimes Real Estate Award. The Columbia Business Monthly named Todd as one of the 50 most influential individuals of 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 based on his contributions toward shaping the business community landscape in these years and the future. Todd also has been recognized in his lead role in numerous award winning urban infill development projects. Under Todd’s leadership, NAI Avant was recognized by Columbia Metropolitan Magazine as the “Best of Columbia” Commercial Real Estate Agency in 2016, 2017 and 2018.
