Tom Niu been involved in commercial real estate for over twenty-five years, both as an attorney and as a broker responsible for complex commercial investments and landlord representation throughout the East Bay and San Francisco. His specialty is larger scale, redevelopment or add-value projects found in-fill locations, as well as complex development of properties involving zoning, environmental and lender issues. In 2016, Mr. Niu joined Cushman & Wakefield’s San Francisco office where he was responsible for the acquisition, disposition and leasing of significant development projects. Previously, he had been a member of DTZ’s and Cassidy Turley’s San Francisco office where he became known for his work in adaptive re-use properties and development projects in the San Francisco and the East Bay. Mr. Niu began his career in real estate as a member of Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe and Cooper White & Cooper in San Francisco where he worked as a practicing attorney handling real estate matters and contract law.
