Theron joined Imperial in 2007 as Assistant to the President, Al Klairmont. He spent the next five years in a rotational program with every business unit: Facilities, Construction/Design, Property Management, Legal, Accounting and Human Resources. In 2011 he transitioned to the Brokerage Department as a leasing agent winning top honors at the firm with 73 transactions his first year. In 2013 he took over leadership of the Department with a focus on expanding 3rd party commercial representation.
