Teddy Swain
Advisor at TRI Commercial
Teddy focuses on providing value to his clients by advising on their business and investment goals. His expertise lies in the acquisition, disposition, and leasing of East Bay Industrial, Flex, and Mixed-Use buildings as well as development opportunities. Teddy has twice been selected as the recipient of the annual Mary Dee Karp Scholarship from the CCIM Institute for outstanding promise in commercial real estate. He joined the Northern California Chapter Board of Directors as its youngest member in January 2020 and has also been selected by his peers to serve as the chapter's newest Technology Officer. Before joining TRI, Teddy was an investment associate at the Walnut Creek offices of Sperry Commercial Global Affiliates. During his 18 months at Sperry, Teddy proved to be an ambitious and focused broker by exclusively listing several sale transactions as well as providing tenant and landlord representation across multiple asset classes. Alongside his brokerage work, Teddy has written several articles and conducted multiple interviews on the topics of business and real estate. His articles are featured on his LinkedIn and will soon be available through the TRI blog. In addition to his brokerage and advisory work, Teddy is an avid tennis player and member of the Berkeley Tennis Club. He is often playing tennis or giving lessons in his spare time.
