Taylor Roberts specializes in advising landlords, tenants and developers on their retail real estate needs in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. Taylor has represented a variety of tenant and landlord clients, including institutional, super-regional and local landlords. This broad array of experience allows Taylor to understand the unique perspective and goals of each of his clients, allowing him to tailor a strategy that fits their business and their needs. Some of his clients include Deutsche Bank, RREEF, AEW, Blackstone, CIM United Commercial Development, State Teachers Retirement of Ohio, and more. Taylor's significant tenant representation experience is of tremendous value to landlords looking to understand the types of tenants and deal structures they should pursue for new or existing developments. While Taylor adds significant value during the transaction and lease negotiation process, he also offers a full suite of advisory services including development advisory/design and consulting, tenant site selection, asset disposition, collaboration with property management teams, and more. Both tenants and landlords have come to rely on Taylor for his expertise, dedication to his clients’ needs, and his trustworthy partnership. After entering the commercial real estate industry in 2007, Taylor began his brokerage career in 2008 with John T. Evans Company, focusing on tenant representation, small strip center leasing, and ground-up developments. In 2013, Taylor joined United Commercial Realty (UCR), where he significantly deepened his expertise and experience with power and grocery anchored centers, closing 80-100 transactions per year. He was elevated to First Vice President upon UCR’s acquisition by CBRE. Outside of work, Taylor’s hobbies include spending time with his wife and daughter, playing golf, skiing, listening to live music, and traveling. A Plano native, Taylor has had a firsthand look at Dallas/Fort Worth’s evolution, and takes pride in helping shape the metroplex’s future through the work he performs for his clients. Outside of work, Taylor’s hobbies include spending time with his wife Elizabeth, son Porter and daughter Marlowe, playing golf, skiing, listening to live music, and traveling.
