Syd Hedrick’s interest in real estate began with scraping paint off of VCT tiles in a one bedroom apartment with a dull pocket knife at the ripe age of 6 years old. Being one of his earliest memories helping his father at one of the family’s numerous investment properties, the lessons he learned catapulted Syd into a lifelong path as an entrepreneur. After college Syd regularly attended courthouse real estate auctions where he learned to buy land for pennies on the dollar. In 2002 he obtained his real estate license and upgraded the associate broker status to broker status in 2005. In 2006 he began training as a real estate appraiser and eventually obtained status as a Certified Residential Appraiser. Having always worked with Byers and Harvey, Inc., Syd loves the hometown feel of the oldest real estate company in Clarksville. Syd’s clients include homeowners, homebuyers, investors, recreationalists, developers, builders and anyone who desires great service from a knowledgeable source.
