Susan Coleman

Susan was born and raised in Conecuh County, and is a graduate of Hillcrest High School. She received her Associates in Arts Degree from Jefferson Davis Community College, Bachelors of Science in Education from Auburn at Montgomery, Administration Certification from Alabama State University, and Economic Certification from Auburn University. She was an elementary teacher, a Math Coach, and later served as an administrator at W.S. Neal Elementary in Escambia County and Genesis School in Conecuh County. She is currently the Commerce, Cultural, and Chamber Director for the City of Evergreen. She is the daughter of Donnie and Elsie Brewton and is married to Gary Coleman. She is the mother of Dakota and Dalton Coleman, and has one grandson. She and her husband are the owners of D and D Automotive in downtown Evergreen, and also own a small cattle farm. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family. She also enjoys fishing on the Alabama River, gardening, and making homemade soaps.
