Summer Penet loves her job, but she does not love houses. What she does love is what home ownership means; family, community, stability, investment potential, wealth-building potential, and a nice place to hang your hat. She is in this industry because she understands that the most expensive and important purchase of her clients' lives is sometimes in the hands of agents who love houses and do not care about people. Summer calls it fluff. Many agents have a lot of fluff, but they have no stuff. She prides herself on making her clients' real estate transactions comfortable and informative. It is important to her that her client(s) understand the process, the nuances, and the dynamics of the whole transaction, from beginning to end. That requires honesty, integrity, and education. It is her job to help her clients understand the process and answer all of their questions. If she does not know the answer, then she will find out the answer. Summer still believes in the American Dream of home ownership! Despite the ups and downs of the market, it is always good to own some dirt. They are not making any more of it after all. Summer grew up in a small town in Kentucky (Possum Trot) and learned from her grandfather the value of making good real estate investments. She also worked under her mother's wing as she ran her own business. She learned from her some great lessons in life, including the value of customer service and the influence a good or bad real estate investment can have on your life.
