Stuart Smith

Stuart joined NAI Earle Furman in 2015 after 20 years of commercial real estate brokerage in South Carolina. He owned and operated Stuart Smith & Co. which taught him the skills to take a commercial transaction from start to finish. As a native of Spartanburg, South Carolina he is very knowledgeable of the CRE market throughout the upstate of South Carolina. Over the years he has handled a variety of transactions in the industrial, office, retail, and land sectors. He is motivated by his passion for client service and market knowledge. Stuart is a graduate of Spartanburg High School, Wofford College, and Dallas Theological Seminary. He is a graduate of Leadership Spartanburg, served on the boards of the Boys and Girls Club, the City of Spartanburg Economic Development Board, the Spartanburg Association of REALTORS where he was the first commercial real estate specialist to serve as President and to receive the REALTOR of the Year Award (2007), the Spartanburg Baptist Association where he was the first lay leader to serve as Moderator, and served as a Trustee at Gateway Baptist Seminary in Ontario, California. Currently, he serves as the Chairman of the South Carolina Department of Commerce Upstate Regional Education Advisory Board and Secretary of the South Carolina West Point Parents Association. Stuart also teaches an adult Life Group and serves as a deacon at his church.
