Steven Cottom

Steve serves as the Executive Vice President of the Company and its affiliated entities, with responsibilities including the project development and the leasing/sales of the Company’s real estate portfolio. Steve joined Vanguard’s predecessor company in 1994 following a career as a CPA in public accounting with KPMG. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science - Accounting degree from Oklahoma State University (1991) and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma (1998). Since 2009, Steve has also serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of Mid-America Christian University. Professional designations include Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), licensed real estate broker in the state of Oklahoma, and formerly a Certified Public Accountant (CPA - inactive). Professional affiliations include the Oklahoma CCIM Chapter (Past President), national CCIM Institute, and the Commercial Real Estate Council of Oklahoma City. Community activities include the coaching youth sports and acting as Treasurer of his local church. Steve’s hobbies include traveling with his family, skiing, hunting & fishing, and attending sports activities (including long-time season ticket holder to Oklahoma Sooners football and the Oklahoma City Thunder basketball). Steve and his wife Heather have three children (Savannah, Summer, and Shane) and are both life-time residents of Oklahoma City.
