Steven Berman serves as a Vice President with NAI Capital in the Encino office. He has brokered all aspects of commercial real estate, however, specializes in multifamily / mixed-use ground-up development. His extensive background in expediting and permitting allows him to closely collaborate with owners and developers, eyeing potential ground up development throughout Los Angeles County. Steven’s scope of services includes broker opinion of value, land use research, as well as highest and best use analyses. Steven values the client’s end goal objective and, takes an interactive approach in working with the entire development team, from site acquisition, permitting and in-field inspections, as well as disposition of the completed project. He is also a member of NAI Capital’s Investment Services Group in marketing land use investment properties throughout Southern California. In 1993 Steven started his career in commercial real estate when he joined Marcus & Millichap, and quickly built up his market knowledge of retail and commercial properties throughout northern Los Angeles County. In 2003 he headed a private investment fund renovating and repositioning multi-family and retail properties. In 2016 Steven re-entered the brokerage world in order to combine his expediting / permitting knowledge with his brokerage skills in order to better serve his clients.
