Scope of Service Experience Stephen Tate, CCIM is a retail, investment and development specialist at NAI Utah Commercial Real Estate. He is a twelve-year veteran of the real estate shopping center industry and has extensive experience in all aspects of retail real estate, from asset management and development to tenant and landlord representation. Steve has developed his skills and business relationships over the years by starting with Property, Asset and Portfolio Management, then specializing in Lease Administration and Tenant Representation. With this kind of solid background he is now consulting and advising on all types of real estate transactions including investment portfolios and development. Backed by his extensive knowledge of the market and NAI Utah?s broad resources, including a comprehensive information database, he is a skilled negotiator who is well-versed and experienced in lease and purchase negotiations. Whether representing landlord or tenant, he is a key asset in the development, leasing, acquisition and disposition of commercial real estate. Steve's experience in retail development and leasing assisted him as a key player in negotiations with such select clients as: Intermountain Health Care, K-Mart, Albertson?s, Walgreen?s, Smith?s Food and Drug, Dollar General, Caf Rio, Mountain America Credit Union, Standard Optical, Associated Food Stores, Chico?s, Fedex/Kinkos, Starbucks, McDonald?s, and Benjamin Moore Paint Company. Prior to joining NAI Utah, Stephen worked for Woodbury Corporation, a regional development company. While at Woodbury, he leased the majority of Woodbury Corporation?s retail space. Previous experience at Barlow Nielsen Associates, Inc also helped him gain a wealth of management experience. There he developed his proficiency for asset management, lease administration, and construction management. Steve is a member of industry-related organizations that provide him with the most current real estate changes and resources to better serve his clients. Stephen holds the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation with the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute, and is a past Chapter President of the Utah CCIM chapter. He participated at the University of Shopping Centers at the Wharton School of Business and is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
