Sonny Potter

Sonny specializes in industrial leasing and sales and works with the brokerage team to foster new business opportunities. Sonny’s leadership qualities allow him to deliver on needs of clients and emphasize customer service relationships. Prior to joining JH Berry, Sonny began his career in the retail industry as a general manager for a start-up company. Within a year he was moved into the regional manager role where he oversaw three locations with over 75 employees across the southeast. Sonny played an instrumental role when opening new locations, ensuring new managers and employees upheld the standards and expectations of the company. Sonny graduated from The University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing, with a specialization in sales. Sonny is an active member of the National Association for Industrial and Office Parks (NAIOP) Alabama Chapter, The Phoenix Club of Birmingham which benefits the Boys & Girls Club of Central Alabama, Alabama A Club, and St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. In his free time Sonny enjoys spending his free time with friends and family outdoors, spent on the golf course, at the lake, at the farm, or watching Alabama Football.
