Sonny also serves as the Broker of Record for the firm. He graduated from Georgetown University in Washington DC with a degree in International Economics and a concentration in International Finance and Commerce. He also has an MBA at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Sonny is also the Past President of the Realtors Commercial Alliance and the former member of the board of directors of Florida Association of Realtors and the Greater Fort Lauderdale Realtors Association. Sonny is also a CCIM. The CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation is considered the most prestigious of all Real Estate designations. Often referred to as the PhD of Commercial Real Estate, a practitioner must not only demonstrate educational mastery but also a depth of real world commercial real estate experience and expertise. Only 6% of all Commercial Real Estate practitioners in the US are CCIM's. He is a member of the National Association of Realtors, Florida Association of Realtors, the Miami Association of Realtors and the Georgetown Club of Palm Beach. He also serves on the Georgetown Alumni Interview Panel. Known for his expertise in the real estate space, Sonny has made frequent appearances in the South Florida Business Journal, Daily Business Review, City and Shore Magazine, Palm Beach Post and the South Florida Sun Sentinel newspapers. He was also featured in the Powers for Good issue of City & Shore magazine, highlighting CEO’s with deep non-profit experience and involvement. Sonny also serves as the CEO of First Serve USA, a non-profit organization dedicated to serving children from economically challenged neighborhoods. An effective communicator, Sonny has been the featured keynote speaker at business events and has participated in numerous panel discussions with political and business leaders. Sonny is also the past winner of the 40 under 40 award from South Florida Business Journal and the 40 under 40 award from Real Estate Forum Magazine.
