Sonny Barton

A native of upstate New York, Sonny Barton graduated from Old Dominion University with a major in Clinical Psychology. Upon graduation, he pursued a career in the medical field, accepting a position as a member of a residential treatment team tasked with the clinical rehabilitation of juvenile delinquents. In 1994, Sonny took a compliance position with an International Credit Card company. Quickly identified as a leader, Sonny was placed in a managerial fast-track program and moved to the company’s new corporate headquarters in Las Vegas, NV. This program helped him refine his Marketing skills and he soon left to assume the role of Marketing Manager and later Marketing Director of a Nevada based Health and Nutrition Company. This company would go on to become the #1 fastest growing privately held company in America. In 2000 Sonny accepted a position as Strategic Marketing Manager with a Las Vegas based eCommerce company. He soon rose to become Director of Marketing with the responsibility of overseeing the marketing and product implementation for several of the company’s largest clients to include: Gateway Computers, Sprint and Office Depot. His 'Get It Done' attitude landed him in London, England as the companies International Sales and Marketing liaison to Barclays Bank. Around this time the dot.com era was coming to end however, the real estate industry was heating up in Las Vegas. Mr. Barton decided to pursue a career in commercial real estate. In a few short years, he was responsible for 11 commercial projects totaling over 500,000 sf. of Class A Office and Retail space. During this time, he met a local wine enthusiast and the two set out to revolutionize the wine industry. They artfully crafted their own signature brand of wine tasting and today host some of the largest wine and music festivals in the country. Additionally, they produce two award-winning wines at their winery in Sonoma, CA. Sonny is also a full service commercial broker and property manager. He is responsible for new business development as it pertains to the company's portfolio of Class A Office and Retail properties.
