ABOUT

Simon has been with CBRE since 1994 and is a senior partner of one of the most successful corporate real estate teams in Orange County. He excels in his role as a chief advisor and is primarily responsible for team leadership, negotiating lease and sale transactions and project management. Simon’s strong relationship and management skills have enabled him to consistently be involved with a majority of the significant office transactions in Orange County. Through hard work and strong strategic insight, Simon has earned the respect and represented many corporations such as AG Edwards, Gillette, BT&T, Precept and UBS. In addition, Simon handles some of the most iconic office projects in the county including Newport Corporate Tower, 2050 Main, Lakeside Towers, Xerox Centre and Von Karman Towers. Under Simon’s leadership, his team has averaged over 100 lease and sale transactions totaling approximately 2,500,000 SF and $300,000,000 in consideration per year, which translates to unparalleled “real time” market knowledge which is leveraged to benefit clients. Simon is a scholar of trends in the workplace and is one of the founding partners of CBRE’s Media & Creative Specialty Group (MACS). Simon places a high value on his relationships and is a loyal servant to his clients. He sees himself as an extension of his clients and therefore always acts in their best interest. He sets high standard for himself and his team and is known for conducting business with diplomacy, integrity and mutual respect. During his tenure with CBRE, Simon has been recognized as a Top 25 producer for the Orange County region, as well as received the CBRE Award of Excellence Broker of the Year Award for the Newport Beach Office. He has also been honored with numerous other industry recognitions such as Costar Power Broker which is awarded based on transaction volume. Simon stays involved in his industry by attending BOMA and NAIOP meetings, being a member of the South Coast Metro Alliance and supporting the Building Blocks Children’s Foundation. A native of Great Britain, he now resides in Orange County with wife Amy and his five children. As an advocate for education, he has served as President and is currently serving on the Board of Andersen DEANS – an organization with the sole intent of raising funds to support his local elementary school. When not working, you might see him paddle boarding or watching English Premier League soccer. Simon earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of California at Irvine.
