Sherry Wilborn

Sherry’s background is in rural economic development and her experience includes industry recruitment, industrial site development, contract negotiation, and construction project management. During her tenure as the Director of Economic Development in Person County, Sherry secured more than $90 million in capital investment. Sherry has been involved in regional and statewide economic development in North Carolina for nearly a decade and has a strong finger on the pulse of the Triangle Region. Her desire is to see rural communities receive the same professional service in the area of commercial real estate as more urban areas do.
