Sep Melamed

Mr. Melamed is the founding member of Prime Properties. Mr. Melamed’s practice is focused on real estate transactions. Prior to the formation of his firm, Sepehr Melamed worked at Marcus & Millichap and South Park Group, Inc. Mr. Melamed regularly advises clients on matters relating to mortgage conduit loans created for the capital markets. These loans typically involve stringent borrower covenants along with requirements for the structure of the borrowing entities, including special purpose entities and bankruptcy remote provisions. Mr. Melamed has represented clients in real estate joint ventures and syndications of real estate assets and residential and commercial leases and purchase agreements. He also structures, negotiates and forms private equity funds and co-investment/partnership transactions for real estate developers. Mr. Melamed has general real estate transactions practice including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and leasing of commercial, industrial, retail, residential and mixed-use properties. Mr. Melamed has been involved in all stages of such transactions from initial planning to negotiating and documenting. He works closely with developers, investors, lenders, architects, contractors, engineers, brokers, and consultants on all aspects of these classes of properties. Mr. Melamed also has expertise in change of uses, and with various types of property in the State of California.
