Selena Cottrill is the Project Coordinator at the Athens County Economic Development Council. Ms. Cottrill organizes ACEDC and ACPA board meetings, compiles quarterly reporting for ACEDC, coordinates business retention & expansion (BRE) meetings with clients, and maintains the city and county Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) accounts. She is also responsible for organizing, managing, creating, and distributing all marketing for the ACEDC, including social media presence. Lastly, Ms. Cottrill works directly with the Athens Area Chamber of Commerce to help plan and facilitate the Connecting Athens Professionals (CAP) Happy Hour events. Prior to ACEDC she worked in human resources for the past several years where she gained valuable skills and experience within the workforce and community. Ms. Cottrill graduated from Hocking College with a degree in Business Management & Entrepreneurship. She is an Athens native and is grateful to be helping businesses thrive in her hometown. Ms. Cottrill resides in Athens with her two children, Brayden and Grant and enjoys reading, movies, and DIY projects in her spare time.
