Selden McKnight

Known for his work ethic and sharp focus on the key drivers that influence his market, Selden McKnight has quickly made a name for himself as one of Voit’s rising commercial real estate stars. He has earned the respect of his peers in the industry who see him as having the skills and knowledge base that is well beyond his years. Before joining Voit, Selden gained valuable work experience with a family startup company and in the property preservation industry managing REO and distressed assets. Both assignments provided him with sales, entrepreneurial and managerial experience, all directly related to multiple commercial real estate asset classes, including office, industrial, land and investments. Selden knew early on that he wanted to be in the real estate business. So, when he enrolled at Cal State Fullerton, he chose Real Estate Finance as his major, and completed that course of study by earning his bachelor’s degree from CSUF. He chose well and now is able to apply his academic experience to the direct benefit of his clients who rely on him for his analytical skills and broad base of real estate knowledge. Over the course of Selden’s tenure in CRE, he has amassed experience with real estate advisement and facility planning for clients ranging from corporate conglomerates, to family owned businesses, with the goal of strategically reducing operating costs while identifying opportunities that will best suit his client’s needs. Selden, an avid golfer and resident of Irvine, is a member of the American Industrial Real Estate Association (AIR) and NAIOP.
