Mr. Stephenson has been a Senior Advisor at Retail Investment Group since 2017. Prior to working at Retail Investment Group, Mr. Stephenson was the President of NOHO, Inc. owned several beverage brands including NOHO, No Fear Energy, Mix 1 Protein, and others. Prior to NOHO, Inc., Mr. Stephenson managed his own funds as well as investment funds maintaining a portfolio of Residential and Commercial Real Estate holdings as well as Equity holdings. Mr. Stephenson began his career in investments in 1995 at Joseph Charles & Associates, an investment banking firm. After his time at Joseph Charles & Associates, Mr. Stephenson was recruited to Maxwell Capital, a merchant bank and investment banking firm. During his time at Maxwell Capital, Mr. Stephenson was an integral part of the Investment Banking team that brought Go2Net, Inc. (GNET) public in an initial public offering. Go2Net, Inc. was the best performing stock in 1999 on the Nasdaq, receiving a $300 million investment from Microsoft Co-Founder Paul Allen. Prior to Mr. Stephenson’s investment career, he served in the United States Marine Corps. While in the Marine Corps, Mr. Stephenson was an Aerial Navigator onboard the KC-130 Hercules aircraft and is a veteran of Operation Restore Hope in Somalia.
