Scott has over 28 years of experience in the commercial real estate field. He started his career as an asset manager. As the director of a major Manhattan multi-family real estate development organization, he was responsible for the acquisition and conversion of over 300 multi-family buildings. During this period, Scott served as chair to the New York chapter of the Community Association Institute. With the decline of the real estate market in the late 80’s and early 90’s, Scott formed alliances with several financial institutions, acting as a third party consultant, asset manager, court receiver, and eventually helping the bank as a sales broker to market the buildings. These relationships formed the foundation for Scott’s company as it currently exists. Today, Inter Capital Commercial Finance provides broad based financial consulting to major market principles not only in New York, but throughout the country. Scott is a member of the Mortgage Banker’s Association, The Community Mortgage Banker’s Association, still serves as an advisor to several banks, and is currently scheduled as a lecturer at NYU School of Real Estate.
