Sam Gerlach

Samuel Gerlach graduated from Saint Cloud State University, where he earned a degree in Entrepreneurship. While in college, he became involved in multiple organizations like Delta Sigma Pi (professional co-ed business fraternity) and the Business Students Executive Council. Organizations he would later lead as president. After graduation, Samuel was hired at Baker White Inc. as a Marketing Manager creating marketing, advertising, and promotional material and aiding in the launch of a d.b.a company and website. His unique background in multiple industries, while in college and at Baker White, allowed him to help build a large following on their social media network, more than doubling their followership, engagement, and brand awareness on social network platforms. Sam started at Upland at the beginning of 2019 in a supporting role to the brokerage team. His experience and expertise in marketing and advertising has allowed him to provide new and innovative strategies to generate leads for the brokerage team. He also aids in a wide variety of tasks and projects including; creating and updating marketing material for listings, marketing those listings on multiple platforms, and managing social media accounts. Samuel is currently transitioning away from his supporting role to a more hands-on role. This has brought new challenges and opportunities that he has capitalized on and gained recognition for via the Costar Power Broker award for Q2, 2022 for his work on leasing space in the west metro. As a now active member of the Upland brokerage team, Samuel is currently gaining experience working in multiple aspects of the commercial real estate industry. He has garnered experience in landlord representation, buyer representation, and corporate relocation. Outside of the office, Sam lives with his wife Emily. He enjoys running marathons, cooking, and spending time with his wife.
