Sam J. Deihs brings over 5 years of proven expertise as a commercial real estate broker in the dynamic Chicagoland market. Specializing in industrial, office, and land transactions, Sam offers comprehensive brokerage services encompassing tenant and owner representation, as well as investment acquisitions and dispositions. Sam formed a brokerage team with business partner John M. Joyce in 2023 and together, they bring 10+ years of brokerage experience to each project. Since joining the firm in 2018, Sam has successfully completed over 200 transactions, surpassing a cumulative value of $200 million. Notably, Sam was honored with the prestigious 2023 Frank Mahoney Award, recognizing him as the industry's top broker with 5 years or less of experience. His tenacity, creativity, and unwavering work ethic consistently deliver significant value to his diverse clientele. Sam is a dedicated member of AIRE Brokers (Association of Industrial Real Estate Brokers) and serves on the membership committee and is the broker representative for the AIRE Emerging Leaders program. Sam graduated from Miami of Ohio in 2018 with a degree in Finance and a minor in Chinese from Miami of Ohio Farmer School of Business. In addition, Sam received a Chinese Business Certification, studied at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) and is proficient in speaking, reading and writing Mandarin. Sam’s interest in commercial real estate began in 2016 during an internship in the Automotive and Real Estate Division of Sears Holdings (Hoffman Estates, IL). A subsequent internship with Brown Commercial Group, Inc. (Elk Grove Village, IL) focused on analyzing market trends to identify competitive pricing for sales and leases. Commercial real estate is an ideal venue for Sam’s ability to connect, to understand corporate and client goals, and to engage his analytical skills.
