Ryan Young

Ryan’s specialty of networking and account cultivation quickly jump started his brokerage career in 2008 when the market began to decline. He was recognized as top cold caller in the office as well as maintained and grew his existing relationships which lead to referrals and new business transactions. Ryan spent most of 2012 and 2013 working as Director of Investments for a boutique real estate investment firm in Hong Kong. His role was to reach out to the company’s entire network of investment firms, REITs and family offices to find desirable, qualified real estate investments in the United States and China. Prior to his work in Hong Kong, Ryan worked with NAI Shames Makovsky, a full-service commercial real estate firm in Denver, Colorado, representing both tenants and landlords for office, industrial and retail property types. His team handled a significant amount of transactions in Denver’s Lower Downtown (“LoDo”) area with over 500,000 square feet of office listings. One client in particular was a successful Italian restaurant entrepreneur in Colorado, who Ryan helped to locate and negotiate space for in order to open two new successful restaurants in the Denver area. Ryan and his wife Michele live in the Bay Area with their two boys, Tyler and Dylan. Ryan is involved within the community at Redwood Shores Elementary, Cub Scouts of America, and is the Coach of two little league teams.
