This quote, whose author is unknown, became Ryan McKinney's professional mantra the day he read it in the Spring of 2004. It has guided him well and it has served his clients well, through the years. Ryan says clients, instead of customers. Because a customer is someone who buys a product, commodity, or service. A client is under the care and protection of another. Ryan hopes his clients feel they are under his protection and that he will always strive to do what is in the best interest of his client. Ryan first began Tennessee real estate sales in 2010. From 2014-2018, Ryan successfully spearheaded the operations of commercial insurance provider, Federated Insurance, in Northeast TN, forging hundreds of relationships with area business owners. From 2018-2022, Ryan was the Team Leader/CEO for Keller Williams Realty in Johnson City and the surrounding areas. In this role, Ryan consulted real estate agents to run profitable real estate businesses by encouraging agents to provide first-class service standards to their clients. Ryan was also fortunate to consult his wife, Sarah McKinney, in her real estate business since 2018. The growth of that business led to Ryan's decision to partner with Sarah in 2022 and transition back into real estate sales in Johnson City and the surrounding areas. He loves living and working in Johnson City and the surrounding areas. Ryan and Sarah have a sincere passion for their community. They share this passion by participating in many events throughout the year to support and give back to the Johnson City community. Due to their personal connection with grieving parents through the years, Ryan and Sarah have been an advocate and volunteer for multiple organizations assisting them with fundraising efforts. Ryan loves connecting with young professionals in Johnson City. in 2022, he served the Johnson City Chamber as the Council Chair for Young Professional Development.
