Russell Grether

Russell Grether has broken the traditional stereotype of real estate agents. He is at the forefront of the next generation of realtors who can be successful without sacrificing his core values of integrity, honesty, kindness and fairness. Russell is a founding partner of the Compass Malibu office and is in the elite top 1% of sales associates nationwide. After years of growing up in rural Ventura County on an avocado ranch, Russell graduated cum laude with a dual degree in International Business and Spanish from Pepperdine University. He transitioned into the real estate industry and has remained there for almost 15 years. Some of his notable sales include celebrity landmark estate parcels, large income ranches, beach homes and commercial developments. Russell is an avid surfer, rock climber and sailor. He has traveled the world surfing exotic breaks and loves the adventure of going to new places and experiencing different cultures - especially if that involves his wife, Elizabeth, their German Shepard, Riley and the newest edition to their family, Sage! In 2017, Russell joined forces with Tony Mark to create "The Mark & Grether Group." Together they have over 35 years of real estate experience - bringing their clients the expertise and reliability they need!
