In the Colliers South Florida region, Russ Bornstein serves as Senior Vice President of Retail Services with nearly 40 years of commercial real estate experience. While specializing in retail markets throughout Florida, he has earned a reputation as one of South Florida's top commercial real estate professionals. While being best known for his representation of financial institutions for their retail locations throughout Florida, Russ Bornstein has been involved in the ground-floor launching of numerous national tenants such as Blockbuster Video, Einstein's Bagels, and Boston Chicken. In partnership with Mike Wilson, Russ Bornstein has been a long-time exclusive representative for Wells Fargo and its approximately 250 branches in Southeast Florida. Russ Bornstein and Mike Wilson, have consistently provided steady and strategic commercial real estate advisory to Wells Fargo through various mergers over their 25-year relationship, including their real estate needs after they acquired Wachovia in the largest financial institution merger on record. Additionally, they have represented clients such as Brandsmart, Regions Bank, and Chase. Prior to joining Colliers, he served as a Senior Vice President with CBRE. Previously, he was also with Commercial Florida Realty Partners, Inc. prior to the company's acquisition by Grubb & Ellis in early 1999, where he subsequently served as a Senior Vice President.
