Ron Rudison was born in New Orleans, La in 1950, graduated from Capitol HS in 1968 and obtained a BA Degree in Economics from Morehouse College (Atlanta, GA) in 1972. He served as a Naval Aviator aboard EP-3 Aircraft, flew numerous missions in the Western Pacific and Middle East as an Electronic Warfare Mission Commander and retired at the rank of Lieutenant Commander in 1994. Upon retiring from the United States Navy, Ron began practicing real estate with Long & Foster Realtors and has been with the company for 17 years. Ron was awarded “Top Three Rookie Producer" in Virginia and West Virginia after his first year in real estate in 1994. Other awards include “Lifetime Member, Long & Foster Honor Society and L&F Top Producer. Ron specializes in residential properties and land sales. All of his clients are represented earnestly, ethically and professionally. His proudest achievements have been (1) in serving the interests of up to three generations of several Northern Virginia families, (2) neighborhood land consolidations in Fairfax, Falls Church and Herndon VA valued at over $15 Million Dollars (that now are major single family and townhome subdivisions) and (3) family estate sales for Northern Virginia land / real property valued at over $7 Million Dollars. Most importantly, the highest level of achievement is acknowledged when a client refers a family member or friend. Ron also wrote his first book on blues, jazz and soul food shortly after retiring from the Navy. His latest book is American Blues, Jazz & Soul Food, published as an e-book on Amazon.com in 2010.
