Robert Thornton

Bob has over 40 years of experience specializing in retail, industrial and investment brokerage, tenant and buyer representation and multiple site land acquisitions and dispositions. He has been actively involved in all phases and disciplines of commercial real estate brokerage and development since 1972 in both the Richmond and Hampton Roads, Virginia markets. Bob regularly represents regional and national clients on multiple site acquisition and disposition assignments. Between 1993 and 1998, Bob assisted a Richmond based assisted living company in procuring 17 sites for development throughout the Southeast. Since 1998, he has been working with Wawa to acquire retail locations in South Hampton Roads and to date has assisted in securing more than 20 locations. Currently, he is working with hotel, multi-family and single-family developers to locate parcels for development.
