I’m Robert Poole and I’ve been practicing law for over 20 years. I attended Eastern Kentucky University where I had a double major in philosophy and political science. I was always interested in the role of the individual in society and the idea of justice. So, I was naturally attracted to law school. I attended Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University. While in law school I worked as a law clerk for a law firm that concentrated on Medical Malpractice and Personal Injury. I graduated from law school in 1995 near the top of my class. During the Summer of 1995 I studied for the Bar Exam and watched the OJ Simpson Trial. That trial inspired me to become a trial lawyer and I knew I wanted open my own law office. I received my license to practice law in Ohio on November 13, 1995. I had cards and letterhead printed and I started practicing law the next day. I signed up with the Cincinnati Bar Association Lawyer Referral Service and I hit the ground running. My office was originally a cell phone and a P.O. Box (and at that time cell phones were a bit bulky). Within three months my practice was up and running and I decided to rent a real office. My first office was in Downtown Cincinnati near the courthouse. In February of 1996 I got my license to practice law in Kentucky and I opened a second office. Since then I have had two offices, one in Ohio and one in Kentucky.
