Bob Durso is a broker associate and part of the management team at JJ Elek Realty Company, where he began his real estate career over 30 years ago. Bob brings commitment, credibility, and hard work to his relationships with his clients and colleagues. Born and raised in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, Bob is a lifelong Middlesex County resident. He is a proud 3rd generation Perth Amboy business owner, following in the path of his parents, Neil and Gloria Durso, and his grandfather, Joseph Comento. A top-producing agent at JJ Elek for his entire career, Bob has been a NJ Realtors® Circle of Excellence® Sales Award® recipient for over 25 years and holds the prestigious Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI) designation, earned by less than 20% of realtors nationwide. He serves on a number of NJ Realtors® committees on the state and local level, including the Community Service Committee and the Middlesex County MLS Board of Directors. Bob has been inspired to serve the Perth Amboy community for his entire career. An active member of the Perth Amboy Kiwanis Club, he is currently their president. He is also a member and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Puerto Rican Association for Human Development, and a member and past chapter chair of the Central Jersey Chapter of the American Conference on Diversity. Also, he has served on the Mayor’s Police Advisory Board and the Municipal Juvenile Crime Enforcement Coalition for the City of Perth Amboy. He is also Past President of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary’s Holy Name Society and serves on the St. James School Advisory Council. Bob married his high school sweetheart, Kally Efermides, and they are the proud parents of two sons, Nicholas and Zachary. He and his family have lived in Woodbridge Township for more than 25 years.
