Rob Ryan

In 2008 Rob joined West USA Commercial Realty as a commercial broker specializing in commercial sales & leasing and in land sales. He is currently working with end users, investors, builders, developers and lenders on the purchase and sale of industrial, office, retail, apartments, land, lots and hotel properties throughout Arizona. Rob Ryan is a native of Scottsdale and graduated from the University of Arizona with a BSBA in Accounting. He joined Price Waterhouse in Los Angeles as an auditor and later earned his CPA. He later returned to Phoenix and joined Continental Homes, the largest home builder in the Phoenix market. Rob served in a number of capacities and was ultimately elected to the Board of Directors for Continental Homes. Rob left the company in 1998 after it was acquired by D. R. Horton. Rob remained in the home building industry through 2008 working for Standard Pacific Homes and William Lyon Homes (WLH). Rob joined WLH in 2004 as their Vice President of Land Acquisitions for the Phoenix Division. He was responsible for the acquisition, the disposition, the entitlement and the development of their Arizona land holdings. WLH was acquiring, entitling and developing large master planned communities that were 250 – 1,000+ acres in size. Rob had the opportunity to entitle and develop land in almost every city in Maricopa and Pinal counties. Rob entitled various sizes of residential lots, retail sites, multi-family sites, church sites and school sites while working on these master planned communities. Rob is very experienced working with Zoning Attorneys, Real Estate Attorneys, Land Planners, Engineers, City Staff, members of P&Z, Council members, neighborhood groups, land brokers, adjacent land owners, other home builders and developers. Rob has processed General Plan Amendments, Zoning applications, Annexations, Pre Plats, Final Plats and Engineering Plans for numerous large development projects.
