Rick Casazza is a Senior Vice President in the Retail Services Group. He has over 35 years of experience in the shopping center industry, including marketing, management, leasing, development, investment, and land sales and landlord representation. Rick specializes in tenant representation and represents some of the most prominent national tenants in Northern Nevada, as well as many local tenants. He also has represented many developers seeking new projects in the market. Before joining Colliers in 2005, Rick was the owner and President of The Casazza Company, Inc., a commercial real estate brokerage and development company. Rick was raised in the Shopping Center business and has been actively involved for more than 38 years with TORE, Ltd, the developers of Shoppers Square Shopping Center, a 58-year-old center in Reno, Nevada. Currently, he is a partner in the forty million dollar redevelopment of the Center, now named Reno Public Market. A mixed-use project combining daily needs shopping of an organic grocer, CVS Drug Store, a Food Hall anchored by Fifty Fifty Brewery and Distillery, an Art Collective and Coworking. Rick is an active participant in the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), formerly serving as chairman of the Nevada State Government Affairs. He was past President of the Nevada Area Council of The Boy Scouts of America as well as an assistant Scoutmaster and currently serves as Vice President of Properties. He is a thirty seven year volunteer for the American Heart Association where he served as Chairman of the Board of the Northern Nevada Division, and currently serves as the Advocacy Chairman for the State of Nevada. Previously Rick served the Nevada Affiliate as Development Chairman and Chairman of the Board. He also served on the Board of the Western States Affiliate for more than six years. Rick has also served in many positions both locally and nationally with the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity and is active member of ICSC.
