Richard Barrett

A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Richard graduated from the University of Georgia in 1975, with a major in Journalism and a minor in Business. He furthered his education by achieving an MBA in general business from the University of Hartford in 1991. Employed by Hubbell Incorporated for 30 years, Richard was in a series of positions of growing responsibility, including the last 15 years as the Vice President of Sales for Hubbell Lighting. Relocating to Greenville in 2002, throughout his career he was actively involved in the Industrial/MRO, as well as the Construction aspects of the Hubbell Lighting business. Additionally, Richard participated in the wholesale distribution channel throughout his career. Taking early retirement in 2008, he brings this knowledge base and broad experience to Colliers International where he is working as a Commercial Broker.
