Raymond Ruiz

Ray Ruiz is an Executive Vice President with JLL in the firm’s recent expansion in the New York Suburban Market of Long Island. As Long Island’s Market Leader, Ray is responsible for the cultivation of the JLL brand in a new market by growing the firm’s existing client relationships on Long Island, developing new business across the firm’s platforms and executing transactions representing landlords and tenants throughout the market. Ray is an active, prolific participant in the Long Island real estate market for over 23 years. His work initiating and executing leasing and sales transactions for commercial office and medical properties exceeds 27 million sq. ft. He has acted as advisor and consultant to a variety of ownership structures as well as representing numerous national and international clienteles in their business decisions. Prior to joining JLL, Ray was Senior Vice President with CB Richard Ellis’ Long Island regional office for 18 years. Ray joined CB Richard Ellis from Koll Real Estate Services where he was Vice President. He also was formerly with Cushman & Wakefield of Long Island, where he acted as tenant and landlord representative. He has been awarded the CoStar Power Broker award consistently from 2007 through 2010. Ray holds a bachelor of science in economics from New York University. He is a current Board Member Commercial Industrial Broker Society (CIBS) for which he served as President in 2007 and 2008. Ray is also a member of the Long Island Chapter of CoreNet Global (Corporate Real Estate Network). Ray is also an active participant in local charities such as The Long Island Real Estate division of the March of Dimes and The United Way.
