Rachel has over 25 years of experience in tenant representation and retail leasing and has an intimate knowledge of the Los Angeles real estate market, offering clients unparalleled service. She is regarded as a retail real estate expert throughout the industry and a pioneer in the growth of restaurant branding along the West Coast and nationally. Her expertise and focus reflects her passion and dedication in assisting her clients achieve their real estate objectives. Rachel has recently secured space for Sam Edelman with a flagship store in Beverly Hills, True Food Kitchen and ShopHouse Southeast Asian Kitchen in Manhattan Beach, Athleta on Third Street Promenade, Rag & Bone in Brentwood, Sandro in Beverly Hills, Veggie Grill at The Village at Topanga in Woodland Hills, Fig & Olive on Oak Street in Chicago and Le Pain Quotidien at Americana at Brand in Glendale. Over the course of her career, Rachel has helped in transforming the restaurant landscape executing development strategies for a multitude of restaurant tenants. Rachel led Chipotle Mexican Grill’s expansion efforts in Metropolitan Los Angeles, securing more than 70 locations on their behalf, most recently at Wilshire Vermont Station in Koreatown and Midtown Crossing in Los Angeles. In addition, Rachel’s forte is educating and facilitating roll-out strategies for new-to-market concepts. Most recently, she solidified four powerful pieces of real estate for ShopHouse Southeast Asian Market (a division of Chipotle Mexican Grill). She also executed and secured first-to-market deals for Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza, Blue C Sushi, Pei Wei Asian Market and Steak ‘n Shake with multiple brand building locations in Los Angeles. Rachel specializes in working with notable, concept-driven restaurant groups like Fox Restaurant Concepts (True Food Kitchen, Flower Child, Culinary Dropout, North Italia); Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises; Fig & Olive (Fig & Olive, Farmhouse); Boqueria; Innovative Dining Group (BOA Steakhouse); Paul Hibler Restaurants (Pitfire Artisan Pizza, Superba Snack Bar, Superba Food + Bread, Superba Snacks + Coffee); and Ken Friedman Restaurants (The Spotted Pig). Rachel has created long standing relationships with some of the largest property owners and developers throughout Los Angeles, as well. She has collaborated with and currently represents some of the largest property owners and developers on the leasing and development of their properties and projects, including Transwestern Investment Services Group, CIM Group, Robertson Properties Group, American Commercial Equities, The Forbes Company and Caruso Affiliated. Recently she has spear-headed the re-merchandising of The Dome Entertainment Center in Hollywood leasing to Stella Barra Pizzeria, Veggie Grill, Blue C Sushi and Caffe Primo; as well as at the Village Walk in Tarzana adding leases with Phenix Salons, Blue C Sushi, LYFE Kitchen, Chipotle Mexican Grill, M•A•C Cosmetics, Beatbike Indoor Cycling and Blo Blow Dry. In January 2015, Rachel was honored as one of LA Biz’s “Women of Influence.” She was previously mentioned as one of 2014’s “Most 60 Influential Women in Los Angeles CRE” by Bisnow, and was noted in the Real Estate Forum as a “CRE Women of Influence.” Rachel has received Co-Star’s 2012 Power Broker Award and was named in Commercial Property Executive’s 2012 “Stars to Watch: Rising Leaders in CRE.” Prior to joining RKF, Rachel served as Vice President at Sachse Real Estate Company, of Beverly Hills where she created and oversaw their Tenant Representation Division. She began her real estate career in 1997 with CB Richard Ellis in Milwaukee, WI. Rachel earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She is a licensed Salesperson in the State of California and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
