Preston Cannon is a First Vice President with the New York Tri-State Retail Services Group in CBRE’s Midtown office, focusing on both tenant and landlord representation. Mr. Cannon is currently working with 25-year industry veteran Andrew Goldberg on retail transactions throughout New York City. Mr. Cannon has partnered with numerous high-profile retail clients and property owners on real estate requirements and needs across the city. His most notable clients include Valentino, Bally, Tourneau, a.testoni and Vera Wang. Mr. Cannon’s significant tenant transactions include representing L’Oreal in its new retail lease at 404 Fifth Avenue, Herman Miller in its 51,000-sq.-ft. lease at 251 Park Avenue and MCM in leasing its first U.S. storefront location. He also played an integral role in Shake Shack’s citywide rollout, which included more than nine locations, and assisted Major League Baseball with a unique interactive leasing requirement in NoHo. On the ownership side, Mr. Cannon represented Westfield in leasing its retail space at the World Trade Center, worked with ownership to lease 580 Fifth Avenue to Sephora and assisted Capital Properties in leasing its space at 111 and 115 Broadway. His strong background representing owners also includes working with Paramount Group on a lease to Ocean Prime and Hiro Real Estate on a lease to Ann Taylor. Mr. Cannon started his career at CBRE in 2007 as a Senior Research Analyst before transitioning to brokerage in 2010.
