Phillip Barry

Phillip Barry is a Multifamily specialist who brings 17 years of experience in advising clients on the sale and acquisition of Pacific NW apartment buildings. Mr. Barry specializes in focusing solely on apartment sales, which sets him apart from the market, primarily due to his in-depth knowledge of the markets he serves and his deep-rooted relationships with each of his clients. During his career, Mr. Barry has been involved in over 150 transactions and treats each with a unique, and individualized approach to help best serve his clients. Prior to joining Joseph Bernard, Mr. Barry worked as a research analyst for Mark D. Barry & Associates, a local family-owned appraisal firm which has completed over 5,000 apartment appraisals in the Oregon and SW Washington markets. During his time there, Mr. Barry developed a strong base of knowledge in the local apartment market. His background in the appraisal business has helped set the foundation to better serve his clients today and bring value to each transaction. A Portland native and graduate of Jesuit High School, Mr. Barry remains active in various alumni events, including the annual Jesuit Food Drive each December. Mr. Barry is also a graduate of Oregon State University and continues to root for the Beavers. During his free time, Mr. Barry enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, exploring and hiking the great Northwest, and connecting and learning all things real estate in the local market.
