Peter has worked for SUHRCO Management, Inc. since 1987. While attending college, he performed maintenance tasks in office buildings, retail centers and apartment buildings. His duties included painting, plumbing, electrical, roofing, HVAC and other related tasks. In 1995, he was promoted to Building Engineer to oversee a 100,000 square foot high-rise in downtown Bellevue. He performed the same duties as stated above along with managing construction projects, coordinating maintenance staff and communicating with over 80 different tenants. In January of 1998, he was promoted to Property Manager for SUHRCO Management’s commercial properties. As Property Manager, his responsibilities include: developing budgets, monthly financial reports, marketing, leasing, negotiation of service contracts and project management, managing maintenance staff and the everyday activities of tenant relations in office buildings, retail centers and industrial properties. Additionally, he has played an active role in the due diligence process for the sale of commercial properties. Peter Townsend was raised in the Puget Sound area. He graduated high school in 1990 and received his Associates of Arts and Sciences degree in 1993. Between the years of 1993 through 1997, he was a full-time student at Western Washington University and the University of Washington studying various courses while working part time for SUHRCO Management, Inc. He received his real estate license in 1995 and is a notary for the state of Washington. Peter was awarded the Real Property Administrator® (RPA®) designation with the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) in 2006, and became the Vice President and designated broker for SUHRCO Management, Inc. in 2010. Peter directs the commercial division staff who manages approximately 50 properties of over 2 million square feet.
