Peter has been involved in commercial, investment and multi-family real estate activities for over twenty years. He has directed commercial and residential, mixed-use projects for institutional, corporate and not for profit clients. He has represented both landlords, developers and financial institutions. Peter continues to represent various private developers, property owners, medical groups, landlords, non-profit organizations and corporate clients. In recent years Peter has been able to exceed client’s expectations and virtually fill all vacancy in a Center City office building. Peter had full responsibility for the development, community, legal and historical issues pertaining to a prime center city residential site. He has coordinated the acquisition, planning and governmental approvals of an age restricted senior care/medical campus, where he orchestrated due diligence, environmental assessment and site development tasks leading to the creation and the implementation of a facility master plan. Peter’s experience includes the acquisition of numerous medical facilities as well as significant leasing for national, regional and local tenants. Prior to joining Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT, Peter also directed the $19 million historic renovation of 241 apartment units and related commercial space in center city Philadelphia, along with the planning and development of 10,000 unit mixed-use community in South Jersey. Previously, Peter served as Assistant to the Mayor of the City of Philadelphia during two administrations. Peter Rothberg is currently Corporate Vice Chairman, and Executive Committee Board member of the Philadelphia based JEVS Human Services, a $90 million annual budget non-profit agency. Peter has been appointed to the Board of the Old City District by the Philadelphia City Council, and subsequently elected to the Executive Committee. Peter has an MGA degree, Wharton School, Fels Institute, University of Pennsylvania, and a BA from Park University. Peter is licensed as an Associate Real Estate Broker in Philadelphia and as a Real Estate Broker in Florida.
