Pete Letherman has been actively involved in commercial real estate since 1995, shortly after receiving his degree in Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame. Licensed in both Indiana and Michigan, Pete specializes in the acquisition and disposition of industrial and investment properties located in Northcentral Indiana and Southwest Michigan. In 2000, Pete earned the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation. A CCIM is a recognized expert in the commercial and investment real estate industry. In August of 2012 Pete became a member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors®, a leading professional commercial and industrial real estate association. SIOR represents today’s most knowledgeable, experienced, and successful commercial real estate brokerage specialists. In November of 2018, Pete joined the team at Northland Corporation - a privately held, fully integrated real estate company focused on the acquisition, development, operation and long-term ownership of commercial and industrial real estate. Founded in 1969, Northland has long been a leader in the commercial real estate industry, having acquired, developed and/or managed over two million square feet of commercial and industrial real estate. The firm currently owns more than 75 properties and more than 2,000 acres of master-planned property. In August of 2011, Pete co-founded Cadet Construction with his brother Joe. Cadet Construction is a professional contractor providing commercial and industrial construction services. Cadet specializes in new construction, pre-engineered steel buildings and the renovation and expansion of existing facilities. Pete is passionately involved in the Sweet Pea Foundation, an organization he and his wife Suzanne founded in 2003 in the memory of their daughter Grace Elizabeth Letherman. The Sweet Pea Foundation supports organizations and charities that help sick children and their families. The nonprofit gives back 100% of its contributions. To date it has donated over 8,500 toys, 1,000-plus books and hundreds of other items sick children might find happiness in receiving.
